Hi, I’m Mary Beth Foster, a writer living in Mint Hill, North Carolina. I have written and edited extensively for The Mint Hill Times, my personal blog, and other outlets.
In eight years with The Mint Hill Times, I wrote over 750 published articles on a range of topics and events. As copy editor for the paper, I proofread all feature articles prior to publication. Under “Style Guides,” you’ll find samples of tutorials and guidelines I wrote and distributed to writers to improve the content we put out in the community. Tutorials on things like adding hyperlinks and feature photos also showcase my ability to work in a Content Management System like WordPress.
As moderator for The Mint Hill Times social media, I used the paper’s Facebook page to keep Mint Hill’s residents informed about what was happening both with the paper and in the community. View samples of the content I created and posted in the “Social Media” tab.
