Due to popular demand, this year’s carnival has been expanded to include more mechanical rides like the Sidewinder, the Paratrooper and the Super Twister.  You’ll also find familiar favorites like the swings, the ferris wheel, and plenty of inflatables!  This year’s Madness also includes a midway games like darts, basketball and cork gun shooting where you can test your skill to win prizes. Wristbands are valid for rides only; they do not include access to Midway games.

The town designed this year’s carnival with an eye toward COVID safety.  This year’s carnival does not feature any closed bounce houses, laser tag or tunnels.  All rides are open-air and are sanitized regularly with an antibacterial spray.

Kids were out making the most of All You Can Ride night as soon as the festival opened!  “This is the first festival they’ve ever been to!” said Sue Reed, watching her grandsons Carson, Carter and Caleb ride the Ferris Wheel.  “My youngest Carson is at Arlington Baptist Preschool, and when we passed this, he said, ‘Grandma, can we go?  Can we go?’”  After just a few rides, the boys declared the carnival one of the most fun things they’d ever done with Grandma, second only to the beach!

Mint Hill Madness is open 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm Thursday and Friday and 11:00 am – 10:00 pm Saturday.  The carnival will be open throughout the festival, but All You Can Ride bands are valid tonight only.  Individual ride tickets are available for $1.00 each (30 tickets for $25.00, 70 tickets for $50.00); the number of tickets required varies by ride.
